After the success of last Saturday’s Indie Wedding Fair, where we spent an afternoon sitting in a tipi with some wonderful traders and new friends, we’re looking forward to another wedding showcase this Sat in our home Hope Mill.

Some of you might remember that we held our very first wedding there last June, and it’s where most of our future bookings will be in 2016 / 2017 and 2018 (gosh – the calendar fills up fast in the wedding world!!) We love being part of this space and its laid-back urban vibe is right up our street.

Big thanks to Bridal Chic in the City for hosting the event, we know our good friends Kelianne Newiss and Alice’s Vintage Pantry will be there as well as a few other good eggs. Wedding showcases really are a great way of getting to know your suppliers on a personal level and in this industry it’s all about trusting and shared expertise. It’s not enough to be told that someone will do a good for your wedding on their website, you need to meet them and make sure that you share the same ideals and are confident they get what you’re about.

Our trestles will also be out for the second time, we’re so proud of them we’re already planning the next shoot!
