‘The Glorious Wedding’ blog feature one of our 2018 weddings at Hope Mill Theatre

This is always an exciting time of the year, because not only is our 2019 wedding season starting to get into full swing, but also because past weddings from 2018 start to pop up in the wedding press left right and centre!

Here’s another great feature, this time by The Glorious Wedding blog , showing Jo and Damo’s big day at Hope Mill theatre last summer. Jo and Damo had a very hand’s on Mother of the Bride who, would you believe, hand made all those beautiful paper flowers you can see decorating the theatre’s wall in the feature. Inspired by a Chanel fashion shoot, she put in hours and hours of laborious pain-staking effort to recreate something that looked chic, pristine and beautiful in this blank canvas venue.

Alternative Weddings MCR were of course on hand throughout, helping managing tasks and keeping the inevitable wedding stress levels to a minimum. By the end of the wedding everyone was positively glowing with happiness and things couldn’t have gone any better!

Here’s what Jo & Damo had to say about us ::

“We hired a wedding planner to help with the running of the day and the set up and take down of all of our home-made decorations (which ended up being a few van-loads!). This was one of the best decisions we made by far! Having Stefanie there on the day just to get all the suppliers under control and sort out any issues so you can just have fun was a huge relief, and the set up she did for us left us speechless (and Jo a little teary!) when we first saw it. Again, we met about a week before for a run-through of the day and she took all of the suppliers details so she could contact and organise them all. She listened to all of our needs and gave us some great advice, and made the day run really smoothly. She even took everything down the next day so we could have a lie in!”
